Altera acquires the Mereveldplein shopping centre in De Meern

Altera Vastgoed has acquired the Mereveldplein shopping centre from Hoorne Vastgoed. National and local retailers in the 5,100 m² shopping centre cater for the full range of everyday requirements.

The centre provides space for 18 stores, including Albert Heijn, Jumbo and Kruidvat. Mereveldplein was built in the early 1970s and was extended and revitalized in 2015 by Hoorne Vastgoed.  The compact and well-laid-out shopping centre is part of the De Meern village centre.

This acquisition is in line with Altera’s strategy of expanding its interests in the food & convenience sector.

Kroese Paternotte acted as commercial advisor. Pels Rijcken was engaged as notary. Colliers International was appointed as the property management company.
