Altera appoints Ellen Tak-Zwetheul as member of the management team

Dutch real estate investor Altera Vastgoed appoints Mrs Ellen Tak-Zwetheul as head of Research & Strategy and member of the management team. Mrs Ellen Tak succeeds Mr Kees van der Meulen who, at his own request, has transferred his management responsibilities and continues to work at Altera as Research Manager.

Ellen Tak has more than 10 years experience within the real estate industry. For the past 3½  years she has held the position of Research Manager at Altera. She played an important role in the development of the model that allows independent assessment of asset- and portfolio quality. This model is used for, among other things, assessing acquisition and disposition. She also contributed to the renewed Food & Convenience strategy. Prior to Altera Mrs Tak worked as a Market Analyst for Corio (Klépierre) and as Valuation & Appraisal Officer at Propertize.

In her position as Head of Research & Strategy, Ellen Tak will focus on the sustainability of the portfolios and improvement of the investment strategies by translating trends, policy developments, ESG-requirements and changes in the real estate markets.

We are very confident that Mrs Tak will fill this position in an enthusiastic and professional manner and, together with her colleagues Mr Kees van der Meulen (Research Manager) and Mr Rudy Verstappen (Research Manager ESG), will make an important contribution to Altera’s business objectives.
