Altera extends contract with Q-Park in Sint Jorisplein in Amersfoort

Real estate investor Altera Vastgoed N.V. (hereinafter: Altera) has recently agreed a long-term extension to its contract with Q-Park for the underground car park beneath Sint Jorisplein in Amersfoort. The car park has 444 spaces, it has charging facilities for electric vehicles and will also offer car sharing in the future. The car park is located in the very centre of Amersfoort, so it has a high occupancy rate.

Altera CIO Erwin Wessels says, ‘We are pleased that Q-Park has made a long-term commitment to the centre of Amersfoort and to Sint Jorisplein. It confirms that this car park is a vital feature of the lively city centre. The contract extension will help enable Q-Park to invest in more charging points and shared cars, which in turn will help to make this shopping centre more sustainable.’
