Altera leases 3,258 sqm in specialty centre Kaap de Goede Hooplaan in Utrecht
| Real estate investor Altera leases retail space to X²O (1,708 sqm) and Swiss Sense (1,550 sqm).
Swiss Sense was already a tenant at Kaap de Goede Hooplaan in Utrecht and they have extended the lease. With the arrival of X²O, the branch has diversified and the specialty centre remains fully let. X²O will open its doors in mid-June 2020. Specialty asset Kaap de Goede Hooplaan is part of the home interior mall “Woonboulevard Utrecht” with free parking in front of the retail units. The centre is located in the south centre of the city of Utrecht next to the Ring (A12). The asset of 11 units is located next to Ikea, making it one of the busiest parts of the boulevard. Erwin Wessels, CIO of Altera: “We are very satisfied with the conclusion of the long-term leases and the confidence of X²O and Swiss Sense, especially in this special time”. The centre was originally built in the 1960s as an auction room and was extensively renovated in 2015 with, among other things, completely renovated facades. |
