| Real estate investor Altera has purchased a supermarket in the centre of Zwijndrecht (municipality within Rotterdam Metropolitan Area). With this acquisition Altera strengthens its food & convencience portfolio, which has recently been named by GRESB and BREEAM as the most sustainable portfolio in the world.
Vendor Tres Invest BV initiated the development of a new retail space, adding lettable floor area and adapting the asset to match the tenant’s requirements. At the end of 2019 ALDI opened its doors with its revamped store concept – centre staging fresh food products . The supermarket of approximately 1,350 sqm is located on the outside of the shopping centre “Walburg”, in the centre of Zwijndrecht directly next to the free parking lot with 128 spaces.
