De Bankier project: 70 apartments completed and handed over to Altera Vastgoed

Altera has taken delivery from Huybregts Relou of 70 new-build apartments and 28 parking spaces in Spoorlaan in the heart of Tilburg. The apartments handed over to Altera are located in an imposing 24-storey tower block on the historical site of the Van Mierlo & Zoon bank, now known as De Bankier.

The rental apartments are two and three-room apartments with a high-quality finish, occupying floors 2 to 11. The apartments vary in size from 55 to 96 m². 16 of the 70 residences are in the mid-range rental sector, in accordance with the Mid-range Rental Bye-law of the Municipality of Tilburg, dating from 2019. All the apartments have already been let.

Sustainability and mobility for all target groups

The sustainable project boasts a thermal energy storage system, a heat recovery ventilation system and solar panels. With respect to mobility, the spacious communal bike store, a lower parking norm and the planned electric shared cars further respond to the requirements of sustainability.

Altera’s CEO, Jaap van der Bijl explains: “The completion of our apartments in De Bankier enables us to provide every target group with affordable mid-range rental sector housing in the Tilburg city centre. These apartments are sustainable, so they are a great addition to our young and sustainable residential portfolio.”

The letting and marketing were carried out by Wooove and the residences are being managed by vb&t Vastgoedmanagement.
