Real estate investor Altera Vastgoed NV (hereafter: Altera) past week took delivery of De Rede, a fully rented riverside complex in central Uithoorn completed by Van Wijnen Projectontwikkeling West B.V. The new tenants were presented with their keys past week.
The De Rede complex, located on the dyke along the River Amstel, consists of homes, a harbour office and a library. The delivery to Altera consists of 28 apartments and two maisonettes in the deregulated rental segment, ranging in size from 90 to 143 m2. Many of the homes have balconies overlooking the adjacent marina.
The complex is situated in the Amsterdam urban region, with excellent connections to Amstelveen, Amsterdam and other key locations. The planned extension of the Amstellijn suburban tram link will provide a direct connection to the major travel hub at Amsterdam Zuid (WTC).
A rental home in De Rede offers residents a sustainable combination of comfortable living and energy efficiency. The building is not connected to the natural gas mains, and has a low EPC. The entire project is equipped with geothermal heating, with individual heat pumps in each unit for hot water, underfloor heating and cooling. On delivery, our partner Wellsius Energie took the time to give every resident a personal explanation of how the heating system operates. The AREA of PEOPLE platform will enhance the sense of community at the complex from the official handover onwards.
Several homes have been fitted out at luxury level with butted doors, high ceilings, premium bathroom fixtures and added kitchen appliances. A secure residents-only car park is located at the rear of the property.
