Multi-family homes in Rotterdam Nesselande district completed
Altera Vastgoed NV (hereinafter: Altera) has taken over the recently completed and fully let Kopenhagen project from Newport Nesselande CV (a partnership between area developer AM, Van Omme & De Groot and Lithos) and is welcoming its new residents.
The Kopenhagen project comprises a total of 93 apartments, 1,500 m² of commercial space and 28 single-family homes. Altera owns 49 rental apartments, 49 external storage units and 49 parking spaces in the residential tower on Zevenhuizerplas. The remaining apartments and single-family homes have been sold in the market.
The 49 apartments now owned by Altera range in size between 88 and 103 m² and are all equipped with energy-efficient floor heating and heat exchangers. The complex is connected to the district heating network and the building has its own solar panels for sustainable energy generation. Sustainable gardens have been planted on the roofs of the ground floor homes between the apartment buildings, with local vegetation that allows the complex to blend in with the surrounding nature reserve.
Altera CIO Erwin Wessels: “Our strategy is geographically focused on the Randstad and adjacent areas. At the same time, we aim to invest in a variety of housing types that meet the sustainable housing needs of different tenant groups. With the addition of the Kopenhagen project, we are continuing to implement our strategy and sustainability goals.”
vb&t Vastgoedmanagement will manage the property on behalf of Altera.
