Altera welcomes new colleagues

Altera Vastgoed announces the addition of two new professionals to its workforce.

Judith Hartog, 30, joined the organization on 1 October as a corporate lawyer. She comes to Altera from ICS Adviseurs, where she has been specializing in tenancy law and construction and procurement law for the past three-and-a-half years. Prior to that she worked at Propertize and New Babylon, amongst others. Judith has approximately eight years of experience in real estate and this year successfully completed the Grotius specialization course in Real Estate Law.

Femke Schouten, 37, took up her post as Acquisition Manager, Retail, on 1 November. She spent the previous three-and-a-half years with A. S. Watson, most recently as Real Estate Manager. In that capacity she was responsible for the acquisition of new stores as well as overseeing relocation and expansion opportunities for the Kruidvat, Trekpleister and ICI Paris XL formats. Before that she worked for retail consultancy BVVL and for Colliers International.

At Altera, Femke will focus primarily upon the acquisition of retail food and convenience investments, in particular local and neighbourhood shopping centres and supermarkets.

These two latest appointments are in step with the growth of Altera’s real estate portfolios, primarily in retail and residential, and the associated increase in the value of assets it manages on behalf of both Dutch and – to an ever greater extent – international institutional investors.
