New tenants in shopping centres Toolenburg and Westwijk
Real estate investor Altera Vastgoed NV (hereinafter: Altera) has recently reached several lease agreements with new tenants for community shopping centre Westwijk in Amstelveen and community shopping centre Toolenburg in Hoofddorp.
Mr. Fillet
An agreement was reached with Mr. Fillet to open its fifth shop in the Netherlands in community shopping centre Westwijk, located at Westwijkplein 66 in Amstelveen. Mr. Fillet will be leasing a retail unit of around 116 m², which will open its doors before the year is up.
Mr. Fillet is a specialty chicken retailer, which launched in 2022 with its first shop in Bunschoten-Spakenburg. Subsequently it added branches in Ede, Apeldoorn and Almere. Mr. Fillet is planning to open multiple shops in the years to come.
BeSolar
An agreement was reached with BeSolar to open its fifteenth shop in the Netherlands. BeSolar specialises in the installation of solar panels and solar collectors and is planning to open many new stores in the coming years. BeSolar will lease a retail unit of around 124 m² at Markenburg 83 in community shopping centre Toolenburg in Hoofddorp, which will open for consumers before the end of the year.

The addition of BeSolar and Mr. Fillet represents a further step towards realising this strategy and making the centres futureproof. Hoofddorp has now been fully let and Westwijk is one unit away from being fully let.”
About community shopping centre Westwijk
Community shopping centre Westwijk was renovated and expanded in 2016 and is located in catchment area Westwijk Noord and Westwijk Zuid, Amstelveen’s newest expansion district with around 15,500 inhabitants. This catchment area will continue to grow in the years to come, owing to expansion district De Scheg and the intended housing programme at Legmeer business park. These locations are part of Westwijk’s primary catchment area.
About community shopping centre Toolenburg
Shopping centre Toolenburg in Hoofddorp is the place to go for daily groceries in and around Toolenburg. The shopping centre is easily accessible and offers a wide range of shops. It also has extensive free parking right outside.
Real estate at Westwijk and Toolenburg is managed by Colliers. Furthermore, Colliers had an advisory role in the conclusion of the lease agreement. BeSolar was assisted in finding a suitable location by NVM Makelaars.
