Intertoys rents 1,000 sqm retail floor space in Sint Jorisplein shopping centre in Amersfoort
Altera has let a first-floor store with a floor area of almost 1,000 sqm in the Sint Jorisplein shopping centre to Intertoys. The retail unit will be delivered to Intertoys in January 2024 and will open its doors in early 2024. A long-term lease has been agreed with the tenant.
Altera CIO Erwin Wessels: “Letting a floor in a shopping centre often poses challenges, and that is certainly the case in Amersfoort city centre. We are therefore delighted to accommodate this complementary new store, and that Intertoys has opted for this relocation to Sint Jorisplein. The addition of Intertoys further strengthens the range of retail outlets in the shopping centre. We are confident that Intertoys can operate a successful store here.”
Jan Nap, CFO Intertoys: “The relocation to the new store at Sint Jorisplein fits perfectly in our new retail strategy. This sees us focus on larger stores where we can better reflect our revamped retail formula and wide range than in the current, smaller retail site.”
Cushman & Wakefield assisted in concluding the lease. Colliers Property Management is responsible for the commercial and technical real estate management of Sint Jorisplein.
